Demand Generation Manager

We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced Demand Generation Manager to join our quickly growing team! Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll design, plan, launch, and optimize integrated campaigns across multiple channels to generate inbound demand, direct sales, and pipeline revenue.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, curious self-starter with deep expertise developing an understanding of customer needs to build ROI-positive campaigns via events, SEO, SEM, email, retargeting, SMM, key partnerships, and other key channels.  ABM campaign development and management is a must.  Though not required, the ideal candidate comes from a background in Ed Tech and/or SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage campaign creation, spend and budget allocation across key channels including but not limited to Google Ads (display + search), LI, media partnerships, SMM, ABM, etc. based on ROI, CAC, conversion rates.
  • Audit current campaigns and fully own pipeline creation and meeting monthly and quarterly SQL, meeting, and pipeline revenue targets
  • Build from the ground up an ABM playbook and calendar by recommending and managing partner platform(s), establishing content requirements, launching campaigns and continually optimizing 
  • Partner with the Creative manager on end-to-end creative development and Content manager around content needs, ensuring production schedules remain on track and assets best-in-class
  • Partner with Ops to build comprehensive attribution-based dashboards to measure campaign health and effectiveness and empower optimization, reporting on the success of demand generation campaigns, using metrics such as leads, conversions, and revenue
  • Establish optimization and testing cadence to ensure continual improvement
  • Define, build and measure the impact of persona-specific nurture/drip programs across the buying journey 
  • Stay current on the demand gen. landscape, growth trends, best practices, competitor strategies and ‘hacks’ to develop new ideas and initiatives for growth

Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years experience directly building and managing ROI positive demand gen. programs in the tech space
  • Experience sourcing and managing external agencies, technologies and resources
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • The ability to partner and work effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, creative, account management and executive teams
  • Proactive in offering recommendations, going above and beyond, and thinking 3 steps ahead
  • You—and those around you—would label yourself as intuitive, analytical and naturally curious, and not shy about trying new things
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and competently manage multiple projects at once

Hybrid role; candidates must be able to work part of the week from our NYC-based office
