DevOps Engineer

Our innovative and growing technology company is seeking a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the stability and scalability of our services. You will work on the end-to-end lifecycle of our infrastructure, from design and implementation to monitoring and incident response. This will involve managing our container orchestration platform, securing our service communications and ensuring a robust CI/CD process.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery
  • Manage, scale, and secure our containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
  • Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance
  • Manage the deployment and lifecycle of AI models in production at scale
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production incidents and ensure platform reliability
  • Contribute to a culture of automation, security, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS or Azure)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash and Python)
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for automation
  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-energy environment
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus or Grafana)
  • Solid understanding of service mesh concepts (e.g. Istio)
  • Knowledge with Secret Manager tools (e.g. Vault)
  • Experience deploying and managing AI models for inference in production environments
