We are searching for an organized, efficient, and experienced technical project manager to join our growing product team. As technical project manager you will be responsible for organizing and motivating the R&D team to deliver exceptional software products in a fast-paced environment with various priorities. You will report directly to the VP of Product while working closely with the CTO and R&D team. Your job will be to translate the needs of the product team into manageable, scalable tasks using an agile methodology.

Requirements

  • Extensive background (5+ years) in managing technical projects and a strong comprehension of technical details and their implications
  • SCRUM Certified
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, in both Hebrew and English
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to facilitate /guide meetings effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them together
  • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Attentive to details, responsible, reliable, and successful with minimum supervision under tight deadlines
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to multitask and manage time well
  • A fast learner that can understand complex Web Systems including APIs, LMS, and more

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans to ensure technical alignment and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure execution and achieve common goals across different R&D departments.
  • Working together with the product team to define and document project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Identifying and addressing process bottlenecks or inefficiencies to improve productivity and quality . This involves analyzing existing workflows, implementing streamlined processes, and recommending automation or technology enhancements.
  • Drive projects and teams from the planning phase to the final release; define project scope and schedule.
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
  • Define and manage a process and push for ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile project management.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables and managing stakeholder communications. 
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and upper management.
  • Responsible for defining, distributing, tracking and delivering projects tasks and milestones on time
  • Manage the team assignments and priorities based on the roadmap, incoming requests and ongoing maintenance.
