Social Media Coordinator

We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team! The ideal candidate should be creative, ambitious, and detail-oriented, with expertise in the following social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit.

As an essential and highly-visible team member, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to drive real impact. This role is based out of our New York office and reports to our US-based Content Manager. 

Responsibilities

  • The ability to use scheduling tools to create an efficient posting process 
  • Ability to manage a detailed social media calendar in conjunction with the content calendar 
  • Prioritize multiple projects and manage internal deadlines
  • Create written content for video and photo content along with other content needs as required
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
  • Assist in developing and managing social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Detail-oriented approach with flexibility and nimbleness and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and management tools
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Proactive in offering recommendations, going above and beyond, and thinking three steps ahead
  • 2-4 years experience with B2C and B2B social media marketing and content development
  • Direct experience using social media management tools such as HubSpot
  • Experience with Google Suite
  • English fluency is critical
